I wish you could smell the wonderful smell of lumber.......

Jason's Tree Service was at the site. They cleaned out some branches and will have the entire crew out tomorrow to take the tree down.  Please plan to come and sit around our fire pit next summer and fall!

Here you can see some branches have been cut out of the tree.

It is so exciting to see the sub floor going in.  It looks beautiful.  You can see the tree lift in the background. Our neighbors are being very generous with their yard and electricity.

Today after school here is what I found:

Temperature was up to +39 today according to my car thermometer.  Such fluctuation!  Ah well, it is Wisconsin, afterall.

Back wall of basement framed in.

• House will be framed before basement floor is poured.
• Lift will be dropped through the space in the framing.
• Tree will be cut down this coming week.
